Paundra Pratama

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Applied Chemistry at Kumamoto University, working in the group of Prof. Tetsuya Kida, and currently a DAAD visiting researcher in the KahmannLab. My research focuses on colloidal metal-halide nanocrystals, with particular emphasis on how ligand and surface chemistry regulate phase transformations and how lattice metastability and excited-state structural responses govern light emission. In Chemnitz, I investigate excited-state dynamics in Cs–Cu–I materials using optical spectroscopy (eg., time-resolved photoluminescence and transient absorption spectroscopy). I hold an M.Eng. and a B.Eng. in Materials Science and Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia.
