  1. Animated excited-state population spreading through a local landscape before recombination, emission and decay.

    Photophysics

    Spectroscopy, microscopy and dynamics reveal where excitations move, interact and recombine.

  2. Animated layered hybrid perovskite with corner-sharing inorganic octahedral slabs and organic spacers.

    Materials

    Perovskites, organic semiconductors and nanocrystals provide the systems in which those processes unfold.

  3. Animated sandwich device converting incoming light to separated carriers, then injected carriers to emitted light.

    Optoelectronics

    Solar cells, light-emitting devices and photodetectors connect material response to device operation.
